Keeping your product updates and customer data in sync shouldn’t mean juggling CSV exports, manual edits, or jumping between tools.

With Beamer’s new Bi-Directional HubSpot Sync, your changelog updates and CRM data now work together automatically, in real time.

‍

What Is the Bi-Directional HubSpot Sync?

This integration creates a seamless, bi-directional sync between Beamer and HubSpot, eliminating the need for manual CSV imports and ensuring teams work with real-time CRM data. Use HubSpot attributes to personalize changelog updates and trigger automated workflows from Beamer. Changes flow automatically in both directions, maintaining a single source of truth across both platforms.

Here’s what it means for you:

  • No more manual data entry – Automatically sync users and properties between HubSpot and Beamer

  • Real-time personalization – Target changelog updates based on the latest CRM data (lifecycle stage, plan, usage)

  • Smarter automation – Trigger HubSpot workflows using Beamer engagement data

  • Data you can trust – Customer records stay up to date, no matter where changes happen.

‍

How It Helps You

This isn’t just about making your workflows more convenient. The two-way data sync drives better, faster, and more effective decision-making when it comes to customer communication.

  • Save hours – Eliminate imports, exports, and manual updates

  • Deliver more relevant updates – Personalize announcements using live CRM properties

  • Automate with confidence – Use Beamer engagement to drive timely HubSpot follow-ups

  • Keep teams aligned – Sales, marketing, and product work from the same real-time data

‍

How to Set It Up

Initialize the connection

  1. In Beamer, go to Integrations → All Integrations and click Connect next to HubSpot

  2. Name the connection and authenticate on HubSpot’s authorization page

  3. Select the correct HubSpot account (name, URL, and ID are shown) and choose the account

Configure your workflow(s)

  • You can sync either direction—or both—depending on your needs.

Option 1: Sync HubSpot contacts → Beamer users

  1. Use the toggle to activate the workflow
  2. Click to configure property mappings
  3. Under Select HubSpot properties to watch for updates, add the properties to sync (search and select)
Recommended minimum: Email (essential) and a unique identifier (Contact ID or Record ID)
  4. Under Map Beamer user attributes to HubSpot properties, map each Beamer attribute to the corresponding HubSpot property
  5. Click Continue, then Save

After saving, Beamer checks for updates every 5 minutes; new contacts and property changes will appear in your Beamer Users section shortly

Option 2: Sync Beamer users → HubSpot contacts

This option is ideal for reflecting Beamer engagement and user attributes directly in HubSpot for targeting and automation.

  1. Use the toggle to activate the workflow

  2. Under Map HubSpot properties to Beamer attributes, choose which HubSpot properties to update and map them to Beamer attributes (search and select)

  3. Click Continue, then Save
