1. While creating or editing a post, look for the category dropdown at the top right of that post’s editing screen.
2. Select a category from the dropdown.

3. Write the name of your new custom category. For example, here I’ve created a custom category called “videos”:

5. From now on, you’ll see your new custom categories in the dropdown along the default categories. In this example you can see that my “videos” category (that I created in step 3) is an option in the dropdown now:
1. In your Beamer dashboard go to Settings > General (settings).
2. Scroll to the Feed & Panel section.
3. Look for the Enable multiple categories option and click on it. If the switch is green and to the right, the option is enabled (toggle_on).
4. Save your setting changes.
5. Enjoy! Now you will be able to add multiple categories to a post.
1. Make sure you have enabled the multiple category option. If not, follow the steps explained in the previous section.
2. While creating or editing a post, look for the category dropdown at the top right of that post’s editing screen.
3. Click on Add category and pick any category you want to add and it will be included by clicking on the dropdown.
4. You can remove a category by hovering over it and clicking on the X symbol.
5. Don’t forget to save your post!
