How to Add or Delete a Custom Attribute?

To Add a Custom Attribute:

1. Add the custom attributes directly within the beamer_config object in your embed script. Beamer will recognize and use these attributes as provided.

2. API Integration: Include custom attributes in your API requests. Beamer’s API will process these attributes based on the data you send. Refer to our API documentation for sample codes.

In both methods, there is no need to pre-create custom attributes in Beamer’s User Data. Ensure attributes follow Beamer’s formatting rules (e.g., valid JSON key-value pairs, proper date formats).

To Remove a Custom Attribute:

  • Remove the Attribute from Beamer Config:
  • Ensure that the custom attribute is no longer used in your Beamer configurations.
  • Delete the Attribute From Settings:
  • Navigate to the User Data Settings page.
  • Locate the custom attribute you want to delete and remove it.

Your Data Security and Privacy is our Priority.
