How do I use Beamer Feedback?

Beamer Feedback allows you to:

  • Collect and organize user feedback efficiently.
  • Enable users to select an optional “Category” when submitting their ideas, improving organization and clarity.
  • Allow users to vote on ideas to highlight priorities.
  • Communicate product priorities and development updates via a Public Roadmap.
  • Update users informed about the status of the ideas they’ve submitted.

Beamer Feedback can be added to your website, in-app experience, or shared via a direct link. When enabled, the Idea Portal will be accessible from the in-app Beamer widget or the standalone page

While the Idea Portal collects feedback and enables users to vote, the Public Roadmap showcases the stage of development of each feature. Admins can control which Ideas and comments are public, learn more about visibility here.

How to Show Only Feedback and Hide the Changelog in Your Widget and Standalone Page?

If you want to display only the feedback section in your widget and standalone and hide the changelog, you can easily do this by adjusting your widget settings.

Steps to Hide the Changelog:

1. Go to Settings - Navigate to the settings section of your widget.

2. Find the Changelog Toggle - Look for the option that allows you to enable or disable the changelog section.

3. Toggle OFF the Changelog Tab – Switch off the toggle to hide the changelog from your widget and standalone page.

4. Save Changes - Once the setting is adjusted, save the changes to apply the update.

By turning off the changelog, your widget will now display only the Ideas and Roadmap sections, ensuring that users focus solely on providing feedback.
